Each Sunday in the Month of February we will work to achieve a tri-fold purpose of growth in Christ.
We have set a theme for each week around which we can center our worship and outreach.
February   7 – I love my Lord- strengthening our commitment to Christ
February 14 – I love my Wife and Family – committing ourselves to spiritual families
February 21 - I love my Friends – committing ourselves to sharing Christ with friends
February 28 – I love my Church – loving my church like Christ does

We will emphasize prayer in our corporate worship and personal lives. Men will be invited to the altar to pray as one of our deacons leads prayer centered on the theme for each week. Classes will be invited to have a dedicated prayer time centered around the theme weekly. We will conclude the month with a 6 hour prayer vigil – praying for God to bless Easter worship. Our deacons will be asked to call one family per week and arrange to visit and pray with them.
 
Our church -wide goal is to “Reach Out” - We will use the theme of each week to invite a specific target group of people to our church.
First week – those who have dropped out and need to get started again
Second week – our family and loved ones – love their souls – invite them to be your valentine.
Third week – our friends – each person bringing their friends – the Bible says, “a friend sticketh closer than a brother.” 
Fourth week – our church – invite someone who has been visiting to lunch and encourage them to become a part of the church.

 Our prayer is to let God use this to create momentum for Easter.  We are praying for 1000 people to hear the Easter message at Parkhill.
