Douglas Cox
Senior Pastor
Pastor Doug Cox is a second generation Baptist pastor, raised in the mountains of Colorado. Prior to entering a life of ministry, he was heavily involved in athletics and had a dream to run in the 1972 Olympic Games. Although that dream did not come true, God gave him strong encouragement through a life verse found in I Corinthians 9: 24 – “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.”
Pastor Doug and his family served as church planters in Korea for 16 years. Pastor has now been at Parkhill for 12 years. His vision is to be a shepherd to our community and is passionate about making Christ real in the lives of everyday people.
Doug and Nancy have been married for 33 years. Their children, Kelly (Luke) Lyons and Stephen are actively pursuing their own lives in the Lord. Kelly and her husband are missionaries working with a camp ministry in the Philippine Islands and Stephen is a junior in college studying art.
Doug loves innovative ideas, sports, riding horses, and learning new languages.

Joseph Brewster
Youth Pastor
"Growing up as a preacher's son, I was blessed to begin my spiritual journey in Christ at an early age. By the time I reached the teen years, I spent my free time at the church looking over the youth pastor's shoulder. I had an opportunity to begin teaching, leading, and playing worship for my own youth group while I was in high school, and, shortly after graduation, attended Pensacola Christian College majoring in Youth Ministry. I have been working in full time youth ministry as a pastor since 2002.
I love what I do, and my heart has long been toward training the coming generation to explore their faith personally and challenge their world with the Gospel. Life changing principles are available through Scripture and our mission at Impact Student Ministries today is to set those principles before the junior high and high school students of our community in a relevant way."
