Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry at Parkhill is undergoing some changes. If you enjoy watching an artist at work you might want to stop in and quietly watch artist/muralist Rich Marks as he creates an indoor nature center at Parkhill! His time is precious, so please be considerate and watch from a distance, as he is "in the zone" for painting, and interruptions tend to impede his work. You will be amazed.

 As you come down the stairs you'll notice "The B.I.K.E. Path" that takes you into the new nature center/children's ministry area. It is an acronym for Believe, Invite, Know and Equip. 

Believe that Jesus is Lord * "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6

Invite others to church * "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19-20

Know that God loves you * "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

Equip yourself to be strong * "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." Ephesians 6:11

At Parkhill we believe children are a gift from God and as such should be cared for and equipped with the necessary tools that prepare them for the plan God has for their lives. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, children will be given a strong spiritual foundation that fosters a Biblical worldview and the belief that no matter what happens in their lives, they will always have their faith, hope and the love of Jesus Christ to carry them through. Our vision is to join with parents, working together in their children’s spiritual upbringing and to give their children the best possible foundation of faith on which to build their lives.
